Open Connector Alliance

FIC is the initiator of the Open Connector Alliance, a data sharing platform for the textile industry. Based on the EU Data Consolidation Platform GAIA-X, together with industry partners (FLEX, T-Systems, Sigma Connectivity, Etteplan), OCA is providing sustainability and compliance solutions for the whole value chain (e.g. shop floor systems, waste recycling, logistics, tracking and traceability).

FILA/Ninjas in Pyjamas

Technology and innovation underlined by tradition is the formula behind this collection of elite pro-wear — NIP’s esports prowess merges with the Italian heritage and expertise of FILA. FIC is behind the technology of the collection’s star piece, the jersey. It has a chip with a unique digital ID that is integrated into each garment and forms part of NIP’s plans for a more integrated gamification strategy which will be rolled out.

NetZeroCities helps Europe in its ambition to achieve climate neutrality. The project comes in support of the EU’s Mission “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030” and provides cities with world-class expertise and services tailored to their needs. 

NetZeroCities assists cities to overcome the current structural, institutional and cultural barriers they face in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2030.

CYANOTYPES Strategic skills for creative futures is a unique pan-European project dedicated to reimagining the competence ecosystems within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI). This project brings together a diverse community of organizations, stakeholders, and European networks to address the evolving needs and skills gaps in the CCI sector.


Green DigiFash Tech Manager

Green DigiFashTech Manager is a two-year pioneering Erasmus+ project to create a new breed of professional capable of steering the textile and fashion industry towards sustainability and digital transformation. This initiative responds to the urgent need for skilled individuals who can lead companies in adopting green and digital practices, thereby promoting climate neutrality, circular economy principles, and social welfare.


Munich Fashion Award

The European Sustainable Fashion award with a tech twist.

The Munich Fashion Award honours European Fashion design talents with sustainable concepts, gives greater visibility to technological sustainability solutions and provides the winners with access to these solutions to contribute to a more sustainable and fair fashion system.

FTalliance

FTalliance aimed to facilitate the exchange, flow of knowledge and co-creation within the Fashion-Tech sector to boost students’ employability and innovation potential. The objectives of the project were achieved through a series of knowledge exchange activities aimed at fine tuning a multidisciplinary Fashion-Tech curriculum integrating fashion, design and engineering with industry relevant challenges through open innovation and project-based learning methodologies.


Small But Perfect

Small But Perfect aimed to ‘accelerate the accelerators’ by working alongside business support organisations to embed circularity, social and environmental sustainability into support and showcasing initiatives. Additionally, it ‘accelerated the policymakers’ by mapping the policy landscape that affects sustainable and circular fashion SMEs, ensuring a lasting impact was made across the fashion industry from start to finish.
